What is there to see and observe in the city? What lives in the crack between the sidewalk and the facade of your building? Where did the snail in the backyard come from? How does a lesser white-toothed shrew get its young safely over the curb? What can birds use a cigarette butt for? The exhibition will show you that incredible stories take place in corners you might not otherwise have noticed or even the ones you would have avoided. The city is alive! The exhibition is based on a documentary film of the same name and the accompanying book, written by outstanding experts in botany, zoology, urban planning and history, and complete with illustrations and photographs.
