Description of the exhibition
There is a small niche (recess) right by the entrance to the hall.
It contains an overview of the rules for urban development and rail transport.
There is a large screen on the left side of the hall.
We screen a short film entitled A Century of Railways. The film is compiled from archive footage.
The film has a spoken commentary with an audio description.
If the sound is not turned on (e.g. due to another event taking place), you can use headphones.
The headphones also offer a version with an audio description. The curators will be happy to help you turn on this version. We have the headphones ready for you.

It shows a model of the planned routes and lines:
- high-speed lines
- tunnels running beneath the city centre
- railway line to Václav Havel Airport
- new metro and tram lines
Our controllers are used to control the animation.
You can view each project in detail.

A pneumatic tube mail system runs through the entire hall.
Try using the system to send a case representing the train of the future. You’ll find the button in the middle of the large niche.
