CAMP Tour: Cycling on Former Railway Lines

Trains used to pass here, today these roads belong to pedestrians and cyclists. This guided tour will show how former railway lines have taken on a new meaning in active urban mobility. Along the route, participants will learn about the transformation of brownfields – for example, the Rohan City project, the revitalisation of the ČKD and the area of the former Spalovny Vysočany or the use of the Vítkovský Tunnel. We will also go through places along the Rokytka River and other parts of the city where the history, present and future of cycling, rail and road transport are interconnected. Václav Novotný, Head of the IPR Prague Transport Infrastructure Office, will give a guided tour.
