CAMP Tour: Prague Riverbanks II.

How can we take care of riverbanks that serve not only as flood protection and harbors, but also as spaces for everyday life and river traffic? On the second guided tour with experts from the IPR Prague Public Space Office, we will set off from Palacký Bridge, pass by the Slavia boathouse and Children's Island, and continue on to Kampa and Charles Bridge. Along the way, we will stop at projects that focus on making the embankments accessible and calming traffic. We will discuss, for example, the planned revitalization of Vítězná Street, the new pedestrian connection under the Legií Bridge, the use of the banks of Střelecký Island, and modifications under the arches of Charles Bridge.

Practical information:

  • The meeting point is on Janáčkovo nábřeží near Palackého Bridge (towards Jiráskův Bridge – the square with Prague chairs and tables).
  • The walk will take approximately 2 hours.
  • By attending CAMP events, you agree to the publication of photographs and video recordings.
