CAMP Tour: Prague Riverbanks II.

How can we care for riverbanks that serve as flood protection and harbors as well as spaces for everyday life and river traffic? On the second guided tour with experts from the Public Space Office of IPR Prague, we will set off from Palacký Bridge, pass the Slavia boatyard and Dětský Island (Children's Island), and continue to Kampa and Charles Bridge. Along the way, we will explore projects focused on making riverbanks accessible and reducing traffic impact. We will discuss the planned revitalization of Vítězná Street, the new pedestrian connection under Legion Bridge, the development of Střelecký Island's banks, and modifications under the arches of Charles Bridge.

Practical information:

  • Meeting point: Janáčkovo nábřeží, near Palacký Bridge, in the direction of Jirásek Bridge – look for the area with Prague chairs and tables.
