Atelier Langhans and Volman Villa – two houses that survived nationalization, temporary uses, insensitive reconstructions, and neglect and decay. Today they serve the public again and show how architecture can come alive with culture.

The first guest will be Zuzana Meisnerová Wismer, documentarian and great-granddaughter of the founder of the famous photo studio on Vodičkova Street, who was instrumental in the reconstruction of this space and the establishment of a foundation to preserve its story.

The second guest will be Zuzana Kadlečková, who was present at the birth of a new era for the Volman Villa in Čelákovice. From a functionalist icon that was, until recently, abandoned and devastated, it is today a place where exhibitions, theater, concerts, and breakfast on the lawn are held. What other events are they planning? And how was the new Genius Loci platform created? The guests will discuss this with actor and director Ondřej Cihlář.
