The City in your Hands

Are you curious about the place you live? Come and explore, discover, look at maps and plans, invent, create and improve. Which Prague do you know and which do you like? Is it the Old Town with its medieval houses and cellars full of surprises, huge housing estates with lots of glowing windows and stories, an urban wilderness where you can run and play with your friends, or is it the family homes and quiet gardens? We will observe, design, change and add to our capital city so that it is a good place for all of us to live. In the coming months, we will focus on movement and transport in the city.

Through the second half of the 2024/25 school year, we're running our creative after-school club. We'll be looking into how the city works, which shapes it can take, and how to design it in the best possible way. Children who like to invent, draw, or make models of cities, and want to try their hand at being an architect, urban designer or urban planner will have fun in our after-school club, The city in your hands.
