Metropolitan Plan: How to Read It?

How will Prague continue to develop? Where will it grow, and where will nature remain? How are the rules for construction set? We invite you to familiarize yourself with the current version of the Metropolitan Plan, which incorporates comments from the public and city districts. This flexible tool for managing urban development in the 21st century simplifies planning, thereby accelerating construction within clearly defined boundaries. At the same time, it protects the character of individual locations. It emphasizes high-quality public spaces, streets, squares, and parks, and leads to the creation of neighborhoods where people have everything they need. At the meeting, you will learn the basic principles of Prague's new local plan, which affects everyone who lives in or commutes to the capital.
