How to balance the need for modern developments and respect for the historical values of metropolises? What does it mean to 'preserve heritage' in a world where climate targets, functioning accessibility requirements and economic sustainability are changing the rules of the game? When does reconstruction create a mere replica? The third evening of the Paradoxes of Historic Preservation series will address the issues of setting up effective collaboration. Together with representatives of the National Heritage Institute, the Czech Chamber of Architects, and IPR Prague, we will discuss how to find a balance between tradition and innovation.
