The city in your hands

The capacity of the playroom is already full. Thank you for your great interest! We are now only registering additional people as substitutes.

Would you like to explore the city we live in? How it works and constantly changes? Are you curious about who actually plans the city and who decides where there will be a park, street, playground or school? How does the work of an architect differ from that of an urban planner? And who do we actually build cities for?

Come and create a city based on your own ideas! We will research, draw, plan, and think up ways to improve Prague. We'll investigate maps, discover new connections and current trends, and work on a real part of the city that is soon going to transform. We'll focus on the new Bubny-Zátory neighborhood–an area within Prague long perceived as a forgotten place. Together we'll look for ways to revitalize this "inner periphery" and naturally integrate it into the living fabric of the city.

In the first semester of the 2025/26 school year, we're reopening our creative club at CAMP, where we traditionally focus on the city and everything related to it. Kids will try their hand at being architects, urban planners, landscape architects or designers. The club is designed for children who think a lot, have rich imagination and creativity, and like to draw and create.

Practical information:

  • The program is designed for children aged 8 to 12.
  • Children meet every Thursday at 15:00 at CAMP. The programme runs for 2 hours in our workshop. We also go on trips around the city with the children.
  • The club is led by experienced instructors.
  • 1st semester of school year: October–January, 2nd semester: March–June
  • The first meeting will take place on October 2, 2025.
  • The fee for one semester is 1,800 CZK.
  • If interested, please fill out the registration form. We will then send you application paperwork. A signed application and payment of the fee are required for participation.
