By Tram Across the Barrandov Bridge

How did the approach to public space in the 1990s shape new transport projects? How were accessibility and stop design addressed? A guided ride on the architram 9219 will take you along the Barrandov flyover, built between 2001 and 2004, which provided a direct tram connection to the Barrandov housing estate and also opened up the topic of architectural design for transport structures in the housing estate environment. At each stop, we will focus on architecture built after 1989 and on how the tram network is developing today, with the route extended from Barrandov to Holyně and Slivenec. The tour will be led by Rostislav Zapletal from the Office of Public Space and moderator Jiří Jaroš from IPR Prague.

Expected route: Botanická zahrada – Národní divadlo – Újezd – Anděl – Hlubočepy – sídliště Barrandov –Slivenec – Anděl – Zborovská – Výtoň – Botanická zahrada
