How has the approach to designing wood buildings changed in recent years? What does Czech legislation allow us to do, and what are the biggest obstacles to increasing the use of wood as a construction material? As part of the opening evening of the Salon dřevostaveb (Wood Building Salon), you will hear from Do Janne Vermeulen who founded the architectural firm Team V in 2013 together with Jeroen van Schooten (NL). The firm is known, for example, for its innovative wooden hybrid residential building, HAUT, in Amsterdam, one of the tallest wooden towers in the world. Other guests will include Bjorn Kierulf (SK/NO), a Norwegian-born industrial designer who works in sustainable architecture at the architecture studio Createrra.
