Living in an Olympic Village or a former power station? What's it like when houses are designed by someone who is an architect, sociologist, and psychologist all in one? The next guest on Urban Talks was Alex Lifschutz, one of the founders of the London-based studio Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands.
In his lecture, Alex Lifschutz presented, among other things, an affordable housing project for Coin Street Community Builders organisation and the East Village residential area in the Olympic complex from 2012, which continues to serve as housing to this day. He also showcased the Barking Riverside project, which will see over 10,000 new homes built near central London.
The evening was hosted by Petr Návrat.
The event was run in partnership with ONplan lab.
