Living in an Olympic Village or a former power station? What's it like when houses are designed by someone who is an architect, sociologist, and psychologist all in one? The next guest on Urban Talks is Alex Lifschutz, one of the founders of the London-based studio Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands. In his lecture, Alex Lifschutz will present, among other things, an affordable housing project for Coin Street Community Builders organisation and the East Village residential area in the Olympic complex from 2012, which continues to serve as housing to this day. He will also showcase the Barking Riverside project, which will see over 10,000 new homes built near central London.
The evening is hosted by Petr Návrat. The event is run in partnership with ONplan lab.
Hi! In September 2022, we launched the basic version of the new website. We performed user testing before the launch, but the real user testing is the one that is happening right now.
We'd love to hear how you're using the site, if you can think of ways to improve it, if there's anything missing, or if you've come across any errors. Thank you!
