What is it like to design the building that won World Building of the Year in 2019? How do you turn an old railway station hall, standing on a brownfield site similar to Prague's Bubny district, into a public lounge and a modern library? Gert Kwekkeboom from the Dutch firm Civic Architects will answer these questions in the next lecture of the Urban Talks series. They have realized public spaces both in the form of cultural buildings and infrastructure and landscape projects, including the multifunctional LocHal library and the Piushaven pavilion in Tilburg harbour.
Hi! In September 2022, we launched the basic version of the new website. We performed user testing before the launch, but the real user testing is the one that is happening right now.
We'd love to hear how you're using the site, if you can think of ways to improve it, if there's anything missing, or if you've come across any errors. Thank you!
