Did you know that as of 2017, there were 72 types of trash cans and an incredible 131 types of benches in the center of Prague alone? Yet between the Powder Gate and the Fruit Market, there was nowhere to sit at all. Cyclists also had to search hard, as there were barely five bike racks in the very center. The second exhibition at the Center for Architecture and Metropolitan Planning presented the results of an international design competition for new street furniture in Prague: a bench, a trash can, and a bike rack.
