In 2021, Prague became the headquarters of the newly established European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA). This builds on the existing Galileo project operations center in Vltavská street, the premises of which are no longer sufficient. The unsuccessful Prague 8 City Hall building project in Palmovka was chosen as a suitable location. The torso of the building will be renovated and equipped for the needs of the Agency. The aim is also to build a space-themed education center there at the same time. A project to modify the building before completion is currently being prepared.
