The Prague City Council has approved the project for a public procurement contract to renovate and revitalize the riverfront promenade along Pobřežní cesta near the Ledárny Braník. The project calls for the creation of a new section of paved path for pedestrians, cyclists, and inline skaters, which will become part of the A2 main cycling route. The construction work will also include building a new footbridge for pedestrians and cyclists across the local cove.
Before the bidding process begins, the Prague City Council must approve the project. Construction of the new recreational and transportation link is scheduled for 2026–2027.
