Libeňské kosy is a site of citywide significance in terms of the city’s connection to the river, which brings with it significant pressure to redevelop the area. The character of the site has undergone drastic changes on more than one occasion over the past few decades, and at present, the area is difficult for residents to access. Given current trends and the needs of the city’s residents, Libeňské kosy will be a key element of the citywide recreational system. The proposal aims to harness the site’s potential, develop its social and natural values, and preserve its unique identity.
