The project consists of a complex of apartment buildings located within the Vackov transformation area, between Židovské pece Park, Na Vackově Street, and Malešická Street. It forms the northern boundary of the developed area along the edge of Židovské pece Park, toward which the individual buildings face with narrower facades characteristic of point blocks. In contrast, the southern street frontage along Olgy Havlové Street is defined by the buildings’ longer facades, which benefit from their sun-exposed orientation toward the street. The relationship to the park’s edge is addressed through a buffer zone with green space in the eastern part and park landscaping in the western part of the site.
The goal is to support individual development and its integration into the surroundings, creating a connection between the center of the complex and the park. The ground-floor areas are intended to serve as tranquil recreational spaces. In the central part of the residential complex, semi-public spaces are proposed as quiet connectors between the eastern and western sections, featuring vertical public pedestrian pathways.
The buildings in the western section are interconnected and designed with varying floor heights. The buildings utilize the sloping terrain to create a gradual, terraced gradation of the building mass. The buildings themselves are designed with an open, U-shaped floor plan oriented toward the park.
The buildings in the eastern section, on the edge of the park, have the character of detached houses on a shared foundation. The individual building masses are spaced apart to create visual vistas between the residential group’s buildings and the southern slope of the park.
The architecture of the buildings is based on simplicity of execution with an emphasis on detail in both the interior and exterior. Natural light floods the apartments through tall glass walls or windows.
The design’s priority is to create maximum privacy and a sense of individual living within an apartment building, while offering clients a wide range of apartments in various building types.
