The Negrelli Viaduct is, from an urban planning point of view, a barrier separating Karlín from the historic city center, yet new use will heal this scar. The long-term vision is to preserve social diversity and build on the history of Karlín as a port and historically industrial part of Prague. From the traffic perspective, the revitalization of the Negrelli Viaduct is already complete, yet thanks to efforts by the CCEA MOBA studio, investment will continue and the arches will be used to revitalize the surrounding public space, which will also undergo reconstruction.
