Nové Dvory is a key locality of the capital city in terms of property ownership, as the city owns the majority of the land with the corresponding great potential. The development of the whole locality is predetermined by the construction of the Nové Dvory D line metro station, which should be completed around 2028. This key infrastructure investment by the city requires a responsible approach to the entire adjacent location to ensure an adequate appreciation of real estate assets, coordinated development and preparation of the entire territory. A tram line extension is also currently being prepared.

In this context, an amendment to the Zoning Plan was initiated in 2019 to increase the capacity of the site to match the potential of the entire area.

The aim is to build a modern urban district in Nové Dvory - a perimeter center that will include residential buildings, office and commercial premises, a cultural center, schools and leisure facilities. Between 1,600 and 2,000 urban rental apartments, 35,000 m² of commercial GFA and 60,000 m² of office GFA could be built in Nové Dvory within 15 years.
