The Prague City Council selected a contractor for the public procurement contract to renovate the Vinohrady Theater, with a bid price of 1.66 billion CZK, excluding VAT. The scope of the public contract includes the renovation of the historic theater building with the modernization of theater technology, the expansion of the building’s capacity in the underground section behind the theater to include a rehearsal hall, which will also serve as a chamber stage with a capacity of 150 to 200 spectators; and structural modifications to the storage facilities within the theater building.
