Out of eight competing proposals, the design by architects Miroslav Cikán and Pavla Melková from the MCA studio emerged as the winner. The jury particularly praised the winning design for its sensitive approach to the character of the site and the composition of the individual structures and open spaces. In the upper part of the park, the design incorporates a system of terraces that follow the contours of the terrain, creating smaller gathering areas while also allowing for flexibility in their use as a community garden. The small garden restaurant pavilion is located in the center, adjacent to the main lawn area. Its pleasant scale and structural and material design—combining stone and wood—are well-suited to the setting. It is also an appropriate size for potential rental and has sufficient capacity for economically sustainable operation. The natural amphitheater with a playground in the lower part of the park will be wheelchair-accessible and appropriately equipped with play elements made of natural materials. The entire design incorporates rainwater management. For MCA Studio, this marks yet another victory in a series of architectural competitions for public spaces.
