The proposed two-way tunnel solution for the City Ring Road in the Pelc Tyrolka—Balabenka section will divert traffic away from Povltavská Street and allow it to be transformed into a traffic-calmed riverside promenade. Although the long-term goal of eliminating traffic on Povltavská Street is a major benefit, it remains a relatively long-term prospect.

The study is intended to articulate a vision for the future, establish principles for the broader natural and park areas of the green corridor along the Vltava and Rokytka rivers—including the green slopes above Vltava and Rokytka River itself in Libeň—and identify projects that can be implemented immediately, independently of the City Ring Road and the Libeň Connector.
