Archiplay: Where Will We Live?

Have you ever thought about where and in what different types of dwellings people live in the city? How does living in a housing estate differ from living in a villa or family house? And what do we need besides housing for a happy life in the city? Where do we shop, where do we go to school and work, and how do we spend our free time? At November's Archigames, children will become creators of a new neighborhood—they'll design houses and streets and search for what makes a place pleasant for people of all ages and needs. They'll experience what it's like to think like an architect or urban planner. We'll also focus on moving around the city in ways that are gentle on both nature and people. For parents and accompanying adults, information will be available about the Metropolitan Plan's approach to housing, transport, quality of life, and working with property developers.
