Why do some neighborhoods feel lively and welcoming, while others seem empty or disconnected? In this interactive workshop, we'll explore the Bubny–Zátory neighborhood through the lens of urban planning. Together we'll examine how cities grow and change. We'll play games that help us understand urban planning and the form of the city, and think about what a good city needs—from schools and parks to shops and public spaces. Children and teens will work in teams, designing and connecting their own parts of a new neighborhood while investigating how different ideas can shape the city of the future.
The workshop is held in English in cooperation with UDesign—an educational initiative that helps children and teens discover how cities work and how they can influence their future.
