Archiplay: Where Will We Live?

Have you ever thought about where and in what kinds of dwellings people live in the city? How does living in a housing estate differ from living in a villa or a family house? And what else do we need besides housing to live happily in the city? Where do we shop, where do we go to school, to work, and how do we spend our free time? At November's Archiplay, children will become the creators of a new city district – they will design houses and streets and look for what makes a place pleasant for people of different ages and needs. They will try out what it's like to think like an architect or urban planner. We will also focus on getting around the city – how to travel in a way that is friendly to nature and others? Information will be available for parents and accompanying adults on how the Metropolitan Plan addresses the issues of housing, transportation, quality of life, and cooperation between the city and developers.
