Cycling Along Vltava

How is Prague’s relationship with the river changing? Join us on a guided bike ride from Štvanice along the Rohan Embankment and through Libeň to Troja. The route will pass by newly emerging and planned Vltava Points—small interventions that highlight the river’s presence in the city and evoke its past and potential future. During the approximately 15-kilometer ride, we’ll stop at several locations and look at Vltava as a natural phenomenon, a transportation corridor, and a space that will play an important role in the city’s adaptation to climate change. We’ll discuss the transformation of these sites, planned projects, flood control measures, and biodiversity. Representatives from IPR Prague will guide you on the ride.
