CAMP TOUR: Cycling around Rokytka

How can we restore a natural river bed and how important is it for ecology and biodiversity? Join us for a summer bike ride in cooperation with the bike-sharing project Rekola, during which we will visit the bends of the Rokytka River, which, until 2013, flowed in underground pipes. Natural river flows bring many benefits, including improved water quality, reduced flood risk, and support for diversity of flora and fauna. Water in the landscape is key to maintaining ecological balance, and it is therefore important to understand and support the natural processes associated with it. Come and join us to see how nature can regain its original beauty and function, and enjoy an evening on the bike.
