CAMP Tour: Tunnels of the Main Railway Station

Prague Main Railway Station is the busiest railway junction in the Czech Republic and a crucial point of the transport system of the city and the whole country. How does its daily operation work? And what will the upcoming modernisation of the Prague railway junction bring? The guided tour will offer an opportunity to look into the normally inaccessible areas of the station and learn more about the planned railway tunnels and the modifications of the public space in its surroundings. With experts from IPR Prague and Správa železnic we will talk about how the city centre will be connected to other directions and what impact this will have on the functioning of the entire railway infrastructure.

Practical information:

  • The public meeting is in front of the entrance to the Fanta building.
  • The tour will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
  • Sturdy shoes are recommended.
