Prague Tomorrow from a Tram

The Vltava riverfront has undergone a dramatic transformation over the past century—from the construction of most of the bridges to the creation of public spaces with an ever-increasing emphasis on livability. A guided tour on our Architram 9219, as part of the Poznej Vltavu festival, will introduce you to the history and future of Prague’s riverbanks and bridges. We’ll show you how important a role the river plays in our daily lives—it’s a source of water, a transportation artery, a source of artistic inspiration, and a place for recreation.

The Poznej Vltavu festival aims to highlight all these aspects and connect various activities and organizations related to the river. What projects are being implemented directly on the river and in its surroundings? And what impact do these projects have on the city’s landscape? Moderator Jiří Jaroš from IPR Prague will tell you all about it.
