CAMP Tour: Projects Around the Vltava River

Accessible tour for blind and partially sighted visitors

Urban shipping is changing – noisy and smoke-polluted steamers are becoming quiet and environmentally friendly means of transport. One example is the electric boat, on which we take a ride through the city centre. What important buildings are located near the Vltava River? Which of them have undergone transformation in recent years? In which parts of Prague's banks are embankments accessible today and how does flood protection work, for example? The guide Lenka Hubáčková, who has prepared a guide adapted for blind visitors, will tell you about all this.

Practical information:

  • Registration takes place through Okamžik – a non-profit organisation helping people with visual impairments to integrate into everyday life.
  • The tour is exclusively for blind and partially sighted visitors; we recommend arriving without guide dogs.
  • The boat tour will begin at 3pm and last approximately 1.5 hours.
  • The boat departs from the dock at Čechův most (platform 3B), where the cruise will also end.
  • Are you interested in the accessible tour and would you like to participate in a similar event in the future? Write to the accessibility coordinator Hana Rabasová at: rabasova@ipr.praha.eu.
