Let's walk together through the orchard where the first summer fruit varieties are ripening. Do you know how to spot a persimmon or what a pear tree looks like? Guides Vojtěch Ptáček and Kateřina Štrossová from the Czech Union for Nature Conservation will introduce you to heritage varieties of fruit trees. During the walk you will also get to know an apple tree, called the Česká pochoutka (Czech Delicacy), which was declared an heritage variety in 2024. You will be able to taste interesting fruits, both fresh from the trees and processed using traditional methods. The beautiful trees of these old varieties will win your heart and the flavors of the fruit will captivate your palate.
