MTV ruled the world, and music videos were an art form in their own right. The ’90s were a time when you simply had to be in front of the TV at the right time, or you’d miss out on a cultural masterpiece with a budget rivaling that of a Hollywood blockbuster. This new selection of music videos featuring architecture in the spotlight includes songs by Madonna, Massive Attack, and Björk, who explored new possibilities in computer graphics, futuristic interior designs, and the ever-accelerating pace of public spaces. Get ready for an evening full of music stars, colorful interiors, time-lapse shots of the city, and singing robots.
