The Metropolitan Plan is the most important document for Prague's future. It will determine where construction is allowed, where nature will remain, and how the city will develop in the coming decades. In 2013, the City of Prague commissioned the Institute of Planning and Development to prepare this crucial document. How is such a plan actually created and how has it been influenced by the Building Act (stavební zákon)? For the third time, the public, institutions, and city districts have the opportunity to comment on the Metropolitan Plan. During the previous consultation in 2022, over 18 000 comments were submitted. These have already been reflected in the current version. How are approved comments incorporated into the Metropolitan Plan? And what role can artificial intelligence play in the process?
