The Worst Person in the World

Julie, a soon-to-be 30-year-old living in Oslo, is still experimenting and looking for her place in the world, while her older boyfriend Aksel would like to settle down and start the next phase of his life. Things get complicated when the inquisitive Julie sneaks into a party where she meets the young and charming Eivind. This film, a cross between drama and comedy, tells a funny, truthful and sensitive story about relationships and life in a time when we have almost endless possibilities and can still end up feeling like the worst person in the world. The plot is complemented by locations rich in Scandinavian design and the simple aesthetic of the Norwegian capital. Joachim Trier / Norway, France, Sweden, Denmark / 2021 / 129 min / Norwegian, Czech subtitles
