Prague Riverbanks III.

Walking along the river with dry feet. Why is access to some parts of Prague's embankment so difficult? And what could be changed to open the city more toward the river and better connect its waterfronts? The third walk with the Public Space Office team from IPR Prague heads from Charles Bridge through Cihelná Park and Klárov to Čechův most. Along the route, we'll discuss the new cycle path, the passage under Mánes Bridge, the inappropriate use of the embankment at Straka Academy, and the noisy traffic around the former swimming pool below Letná. Although parts of the route face urban challenges, it shows the potential of these places and emphasizes the importance of a systematic concept for Prague's riverbanks that strives for better connectivity, use, and public accessibility.
