Which specific implementations in recent years have truly improved our cities? And which ones, on the other hand, didn't work out? The conference will feature examples of urban development projects, public administration initiatives, and green and transport infrastructure. Instead of lofty visions, the focus is on practice—including what worked and where projects ran into trouble. Topics will include visual smog, tactical urbanism, parcel lockers, and the transformation of public spaces. The event is intended for mayors, city officials, architects, designers, and anyone who cares about quality of life in the city. The conference will be followed by practical workshops taking place on the 25th November., focusing on traffic signage and interventions in urban space. Participation in the workshops requires a separate ticket.
Hosted by: Pavlína Louženská and Štěpán Bärtl
The event is held in cooperation with the nonprofit organization Naše kultivovaná města (Our Cultivated Cities).
