Anders Lonka (DK)

Piazzetta on Pařížská Street, the city block in Florenc, or the Žofinka neighborhood in Ostrava. Studio ADEPT is interested in how a building transforms its immediate surroundings while complementing the context of the site. Anders Lonka, founding partner of this Danish studio, presented an approach that views architecture in a broader context and examines its relationship to space and the people who use it. How can architecture be designed as part of everyday life? And how can we strike a balance between sustainability, construction, the human scale, and function? He illustrated this not only with examples from the Czech Republic but also from abroad.

Anders Lonka (*1980 Aarhus) is a Danish architect and urbanist, one of four partners of ADEPT, a Copenhagen and Hamburg based architecture community founded in 2006. The office focus on building architecture, urban development, and public spaces with an aim to push users, clients, and profession towards a deeper responsibility for the limited global resources.
