Michal Kašpárek & Petr Šesták

Grandfather, father, daughter. Three perspectives on a world that is constantly changing. How can we find common ground among different age groups and those with differing viewpoints? We welcomed journalist and translator Michal Kašpárek, whose novel Fosilie (Fossils), published last year, explores intergenerational misunderstandings. The second guest, Petr Šesták, is also a writer, but he is a photographer and operates analog photo booths. He is, for example, the author of Vyhoření (Burnout), which addresses the conflict between cyclists and motorists, and of Kontinuita parku (Continuity of the Park), which shows that the main boundaries do not run between countries, but between the countryside and the city.
