Ondřej Pokorný & Tomáš Princ

What brings joy to the vice-chair of a hunting association in Prague 5? Who buys roses from a stall at I. P. Pavlova after midnight? How is Prague experienced by the young and the old, the wealthy and the poor, pragmatists and theorists, left-wingers and right-wingers, long-term residents, newcomers, and those who visit the city for just a few days? The guests of this Camping are interested in people’s lives and the diverse ways in which they experience their surroundings. After ten years of interviews, Ondřej Pokorný has published a book-length portrait of the city as a bustling human anthill titled “Antiprsa, zábradlí, trdelníky a to všechno okolo”. The second guest, Tomáš Princ, is the author of the Humans of Prague project, in which he randomly approached passers-by, photographed them, and recorded their stories. He is now following up on this experience with a new show of the same name, which focuses on the neighborhoods and communities that shape our city.
