Tim Peeters is a Dutch architect who, for over five years, worked for the successful studio ZUS (Zones Urbaines Sensibles). During this time, he was involved in the creation of one of their most famous projects— the Luchtsingel footbridge in Rotterdam. It connects two completely different parts of the city and provides a backbone for the newly developing neighborhoods. For the footbridge, the studio was nominated for the Mies van der Rohe Award. Tim Peeters presented his work, explained why ZUS chose him and described how crowdfunding is being used to build in China.

He was joined by Vojtěch Lekeš, co-founder of the NEXT Institute, and Václav Novotný from IPR Prague. The aim of the lecture was to discuss sustainable transport principles, their financing and, consequently, the reduction of traffic density.
