What is life like in the world’s northernmost city? In a place that’s disappearing right under our feet? And what have the streets of an empty Prague looked like in recent years? Were we “best in COVID”? Who had the plan—humanity or the virus?

This time, Ondřej Cihlář invited the directors of new time-lapse documentary films. The first is Veronika Lišková, whose film Návštěvníci (The Visitors) follows a young anthropologist named Zdenka and her research on the impact of globalization. The second guest is Vít Klusák, co-author of the documentary tragicomedy Velké nic (The Great Nothing), who gathered powerful stories from people in various fields, captured bizarre images of the crisis, and thus created an absurdly humorous portrait of our society.
