The entire area, including the former station building, is set to undergo a major transformation. A renovated, historically protected building, new city parks, preschools, and schools, as well as a tram line extended all the way to Jarov and hundreds of new apartments. All of this is nearing completion on this brownfield site, where many important steps have been taken recently. We presented and discussed all of these developments as part of Prague’s Big Changes series. Where will the tram line run? Where will the preschools be located? How tall can the buildings be? Where will the connecting green corridors and parks run? We reviewed the current status of the study, changes to the Land Use Plan, the planned timeline, and other updates.
