HoHo Wien (AT)

What is it like to build high-rise buildings out of wood? A wooden skyscraper is currently under construction in Austria, and at 25 floors, it will be the world's tallest wooden skyscraper once finished. This project, HoHo Wien, will be presented by architect Oliver Sterl and one of the authors of the complex from the Vienna-based studio RLP at the next lecture in the Urban Talks series.

Architects Pavel Horák, director of the Wooden Buildings Salon (Salon dřevostaveb) in the Czech Republic, and Ľubica Fábri, director of the Wooden Buildings Salon in Slovakia, will give introductory presentations on the topic of multi-storey and public buildings made of wood.

The lecture was held in cooperation with the Wooden Buildings Salon and the Austrian Cultural Forum Prague, under the auspices of Alexander Grubmayr, the Austrian Ambassador to the Czech Republic.
