A city is not just concrete, steel, and greenery. Its development and quality of life are influenced by an endless number of so-called soft factors, such as work culture, relationships between people in the workplace, and many others. In a discussion held as part of the accompanying program to the Urbania exhibition, guests focused on how much of a driving force human approach and thinking are in this context.
The opening speech was given by James Evans from Manchester University, who focuses on social geography and the quantification of soft factors in urban development. The discussion was attended by his Czech colleagues: social psychologist Tomáš Vácha from the Czech Technical University and lecturer from Mise Hero Ivona Kolínská.
