The most impressive projects in the Czech Republic from the point of view of seven independent architects from abroad - that's what the 9th consecutive Czech Architecture Award offers! The concert hall in Karlovy Vary, designed by Petr Hájek, Nikoleta Slováková and Martin Stoss from the studio Petr Hájek ARCHITEKTI, is considered to be the chef-d'œuvre of Czech architecture by the international jury this year. From the 307 entries and resultant 31 nominations, five additional finalists received awards: the Technology Centre of UMPRUM, the sports hall in Řevnice, the adaptation of a grain silo on the premises of the Automatické mlýny (Automatic Mills) in Pardubice, a reconstructed house in Kutná Hora and the technical services base in Lysolaje, Prague. The jury awarded an honourable mention to a new interpretation of a cottage called the Garden Pavilion in an allotment village. Come and be the first to look at the award winners and all 31 nominated works.
