This exhibition presented the next-phase version of the Metropolitan Plan, updated to incorporate comments and feedback from the public and Prague’s city districts as of autumn 2025.

Why is the Plan important for Prague? It is a flexible framework for managing the city’s development in the 21st century. It concerns everyone who lives in Prague or commutes to the city. It sets clear boundaries for where Prague should grow and where nature will be preserved. Within these boundaries, it simplifies the planning process, thereby speeding up construction. It develops individual localities according to the ideas of the local people. It places emphasis on high-quality public space, streets, squares and parks. It leads to the creation of neighbourhoods where people have everything they need. It promotes the faster development of housing and transport infrastructure. It establishes a fair environment for developers with a contribution to public amenities.
