In the 1990s, new department stores, hotels, and banks began to appear in cities. They wanted to be large, striking, and unmissable—some looked like palaces, others attracted attention with their facades or huge halls. Together, we will embark on a journey to a time of great change—we will find out how banks differed from other buildings and what relationship they had to streets and squares. In the creative part, we will design and build our own bank building. Will it be unmissable at first glance, with an interesting facade, or will it blend in with its surroundings?
