Panel housing estates are among the most striking traces of post-war urban planning in our country. They were built because there was a severe shortage of apartments. At the same time, they addressed problems that we still face today—how to ensure affordable housing, how to build houses from prefabricated parts, and how to develop cities in a more sustainable way. During the workshop, we will explore the development of panel houses over time. In the current exhibition, we will focus on the period after the revolution. We will also look at inspiring renovations that show how these buildings can be adapted to current needs. In the creative part of the workshop, we will work with 3D pens—everyone will create an original panel piece, which we will then assemble into a model of our own facade.
